Refund Policy

Draft. This policy is a working draft, pending review by a qualified attorney. It's here so you can see how Cinebrowser intends to handle refunds — the final wording may change before paid licensing goes live.

1. The short version

Paid Cinebrowser licenses come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If Cinebrowser isn't the right fit within two weeks of buying, ask for a refund and we'll take care of it — no hard feelings, no interrogation.

2. Beta is free

Cinebrowser is currently free while it's in beta, so there's nothing to refund right now. This policy applies once paid licensing launches. Until then, download it, use it, and let us know what you think — at no cost.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@cinebrowser.com within 14 days of your purchase and include your order details (the email you bought with, and your order or receipt number). Refunds go back to the original payment method used for the purchase. We aim to reply to every request within one month, and usually much sooner.

4. EU / UK consumers

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. Note that if you start downloading or using the software with your express consent, that right can be waived — as the law allows for digital content that's supplied immediately. Our 14-day money-back guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not take away from, any rights you have under consumer law.

5. Subscriptions

If you're on a subscription, you can cancel any time. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't pro-rate or refund partial periods unless the law requires us to.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute — we'd much rather sort things out with you directly, and it's almost always faster than going through your bank.
